Shaping the Future of Care Together

Happy Monday everyone!

Over the last number of weeks the K&C LINk has hosted three consultation events on the Green Paper for Social Care ‘Shaping the Future of Care Together.’ We are very grateful to Mr. Ian Winter of the Department of Health for his helpful and informative contribution at these meetings.

We are now compiling the K&C LINk response following feedback received from approximately 80 (!) interested members. We will forward this to the Department ahead of the Friday, the 13th deadline and publish the submission on this website.

Issues of concern include the level of information available on and the scope of the DoH proposals and the effect the new funding structure would have on DLA and Attendance Allowance.
