FREE Training for LINk Members: ‘Introduction to Blogging’
‘Introduction to Blogging and Discussion Fora’ training for LINk members
According to the Office for National Statistics ‘four out of every five households’ in London use the web. As the average internet user spends ‘40% of their media exposure per day on the internet,’ K&C LINk is fully aware that having an engaging online presence is essential to our development. Research carried out by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea confirms our local population ‘are willing and able to participate in well-structured discussion using internet facilities,’ with over 90% of those surveyed stating ‘they would be happy to participate’ in e-consulting opportunities going forward.
Did you know the second most popular website in the UK is based on user-generated content not simply information giving? Does your LINk’s Communication Strategy include electronic media?
The K&C LINk is now planning a number of free workshops on blogging and discussion fora for members of all London based LINks early in the New Year. If you or a fellow LINk member would like to learn more about how to create a blog post, good blogging practice and how blogging and social media can improve local health and social care service delivery, then contact us now!
