NWLCP proposed ‘Public and Patient Reference Group’
The North West London Commissioning Partnership (NWLCP) is currently seeking local people to join its’ ‘Public and Patient Reference Group.’ The group will be made up of members from each of the eight Boroughs across North West London (one of which is the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea). The aim of the group is to:
• Review all the options for changes from a public and patient perspective
• Help us review the impact of changes on each area of North West London and at each hospital site
• Support our public and patient engagement with the widest possible audience
• Help us develop the consultation document and questionnaire
• Work with us through to the implementation stage and beyond
K&C LINk attended a recent public event in Hammersmith on the establishment of this group and heard the concerns of LINk members from across North West London. The NWLCP Associate Director, Communication & Engagement is attending our LINk Management Group meeting in late January 2010.
- What questions would you like us to ask him?
- What does your LINk think of the proposals?
- Will the proposed ‘Public and Patient Reference Group’ be sufficient to support changes from the users’ perspective?
Tell us what you, your LINk and/or your organisation thinks NOW whilst there is time to influence the process!
