In partnership with a local health provider, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham Local Involvement Networks (K&C LINk and H&F LINk) will test the quality of reception services at their sites across both boroughs in April/May 2012 through ‘mystery shopping.’

In this case ‘mystery shopping’ will involve using questionnaires and/or formulated scenarios provided by us to you to gather specific information about customer services. Your specific identity will generally not be known to the service being evaluated as you will pose as an actual customer/service user.  As a ‘mystery shopper’ we will ask you to perform specific tasks such as calling or visiting the services and asking set questions and behaving in a certain way, and then providing the LINk with feedback about your experiences.

We will be running half-day training sessions on Tuesday afternoon (in Hammersmith), 10th April and Wednesday morning (in Ladbroke Grove), 11th April for all volunteers. You will only need to attend one of these sessions – so please choose whichever one is more convenient for you. Travel expenses (public transport) will be reimbursed and refreshments provided.

The training sessions will explain how to carry out a Mystery Shop, background information on the project, safeguarding training, and a presentation.

Mystery Shopping will commence from Wednesday, 18th of April.

If you are interested, please contact staff to confirm your interest, stating which training session you would like to attend.
