What is Kensington & Chelsea Local Involvement Network?

The Kensington and Chelsea Local Involvement Network (K&C LINk) is made up of members of the local community who share a passion for Health and Social Care issues.

The LINk is independent and works with you take action, investigate community concerns and find solutions.

You give us the evidence and we can move the agenda forward.

Who can join K&C LINk?

Anyone including carers, service users, community leaders, patient representatives, everyone’s views matter.

Groups can also join – charities, faith groups, residents’ associations, youth councils, black and minority ethnic organisations, business federations and voluntary organisations.

Anyone who wants to make sure that the needs of their community are listened to.

Why should I join K&C LINk?

By completing the K&C LINk membership on our website (available here) you can make a difference.

By becoming a member you can do any/all of the following:

• Be kept up to date on current changes relating to Health and Social Care services locally and nationally

• Attend meetings that address particular issues and interests in the community

• Avail of our training opportunities and learn new skills

• Help promote the LINk

• Take an active role in reviewing the quality of services

• Make decisions on priority issues by joining focus groups

• Make reports and write recommendations

• Ask for information form key decision makers

• Enter and view services

• Have the opportunity to vote for who acts as a representative in your LINk

• Have the opportunity to stand for election as a LINk representative

• Refer matters to Scrutiny Committees
