K&C LINk aims to ensure Social Care Services are:
- Available to the community when required
- Easy to access
- Supportive of peoples needs
- Of a high quality
- Focused on preventative approaches
- Promoting individuals independence, wellbeing and dignity
In line with the transformation agenda, LINk priorities to date, have included:
- Home Care Services for Older Londoners
- Changes to charges for Adult Social Care Services
- The green paper “Shaping the Future of Care Together”
- Personalisation and Personal Budgets
- Age Equality
Our Sub-groups are currently progressing research in to:
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults in Royal Borough
- Nutrition
- Personal Budgets
