TB is a major public health issue for London. The London TB rate is already considerably higher than elsewhere in the UK. Therefore, decisive action must be taken now to tackle TB. The London TB team have, with colleagues across London, developed the London TB Plan. We would like to invite you to our stakeholder engagement event where we will explain the approach we are proposing in detail and you will be able to feedback and comment on these proposals.
The event will be held on Friday, 20 May 2011 from 9.30am – 1pm, at the Institute of Physics, 76 Portland Place, London, W1B 1NT - with lunch provided directly after.
We are encouraging delegates from a variety of backgrounds – including patients, TB service providers, GPs, voluntary and community sector organisations, local authorities, housing associations, commissioners and others from health and social services.
