K&C LINk is working with local and regional health care service providers to ensure the community have:
- The choice of where to be treated
- Services that are safe, effective and person-centred
- The information required to understand their health requirements and those of their family
- The option to avail of a care plan. Care planning involves looking at all your needs, as a person with a long term condition, to make sure you get the most appropriate care.
LINk priorities to date have included:
- Imperial Trust application for foundation status
- Re-development of St. Charles
- The new Earl’s Court Health Centre
- The quality agenda
- New Horizons
Our Sub-groups are also progressing research in to:
- Nutrition
- Access to Mental Health Services in the borough
- Complimentary therapies
- Early screening for Cancers
- Individual Health Budgets
