Our Structure
The Kensington & Chelsea LINk organisational structure seeks to ensure an open and transparent network and has a well defined structure for involvement, including an elected Management Group and Sub-Groups based around specific service areas and issues.
Governance Structure and Procedures of the K&C LINk
The LINk governance procedures were discussed and approved by the Planning Group. The procedures are designed to ensure the LINk is able to protect itself and its participants, represent everyone and not overstep its remit.
They include the following:
- A Kensington and Chelsea LINk Constitution outlining
the make-up and structure of the LINk.
- A comprehensive set of rules outlining the decisionmaking procedures of the Kensington and Chelsea LINk.
- A values and principles statement for the Kensingtonand Chelsea LINk.
- Procedures for use of the LINk powers outlined in the2007 Patient and Public Involvement in Health Act.
- Procedures for determining how the Kensington andChelsea LINk’s resources will be spent.
- Procedures for holding public and Sub-Groupmeetings.
- A procedure for the formation of Sub-Groups.
- An equality and diversity statement.
- Procedures defining the election process of Advisory
- Steering Group members of the LINk and the publicvoting process.
- The procedure for selecting and authorisingrepresentatives of the LINk to enter and view health and social care service premises.
- A procedure for dealing with conflicts of interest.
- A review date for the LINk constitution
