K&C LINk aims to ensure Social Care Services are:
- Available to the community when required
- Easy to access
- Supportive of peoples needs
- Of a high quality
- Focused on preventative approaches
- Promoting individuals independence, wellbeing and dignity
In line with the transformation agenda, LINk priorities to date, have included:
- Home Care Services for Older Londoners
- Changes to charges for Adult Social Care Services
- The green paper "Shaping the Future of Care Together"
- Personalisation and Individual Budgets
- The quality agenda
Our Sub-groups are also progressing research in to:
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults in Royal Borough
- Individual Budgets
If every user of social care services in the Royal Borough is to be at the centre of the services they receive, transformation will mean working in partnership with Health.
